COIL DEFENDER is the first direct to metal (DTM) water-based coating specially designed to stop corrosion and improve efficiency on the heat exchange surfaces and metal components of air conditioning systems. It needs only a clean dry surface to give superior corrosion protection from even the harshest Australian environments.

COIL DEFENDER offers superior corrosion protection for all ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces within the air conditioning system with a thin water resistant easy to apply film. This thin film does not affect heat exchange, maximises airflow and reduces microbial contamination.

Efficiency improvements occur because of two special advancements in the coating –

Firstly, the coating is SUPER Hydrophobic, repelling water and dirt from the metal surfaces. This feature improves efficiency and reduces corrosion significantly. Secondly the COIL DEFENDER coating is impregnated with Silver Ions stopping the growth of mould and bacteria on the coated metal surfaces.

Coil Defender DTM Aerosol

COIL DEFENDER DTM Aerosol is a high-quality resin specially formulated to be back into an aerosol form. The resin has high corrosion and chemical resistance and is designed for simple protection application on air conditioning coils.

Coil Defender DTM

COIL DEFENDER DTM is a High Gloss ACRYLIC direct to metal high gloss water-based co-polymer specifically designed for use on HVAC Coils, industrial and marine direct to metal topcoat applications for external/internal exposures where long-term durability is essential. Is suitable as an alternative to powder coating. The coating exhibits excellent performance properties, including high gloss, anti-corrosion resistance and excellent salt spray resistance. The formulation, in addition, provides hydrophobic and anti-microbial (silver ion) film characteristics which increase efficiency of HVAC systems and improve indoor air quality.
